Devon

Oooh! It's been a crazy few weeks! Let's see, in one month, I will have been to:

Moscow
On a canal boat in Warwickshire
Northern Ireland
Sicily
Devon
Rome

And this weekend we're going to Istanbul! Sooo crazy!

I had a great visit with my parents. They flew back to Toronto on Sunday. We had such a wonderful visit, and I think they are in the process of recovering from a breakneck pace, and having 6 flights in 13 days.

We went to Devon last Thursday and Friday and really enjoyed the beautiful British coastline. We had a cream tea each day (yum!) and walked on the beach, searched for fossils along the jurassic coast, and spent time in the lovely seaside village of Beer.

We also went to Branscombe Beach, where that giant ship 'The Napoli' ran aground in February. This was where the shipping containers had floated to shore and people had scavenged through them. There is still lots of debris washing up on shore, and the ship is still there, but they have removed all the cargo, and are expecting to tow it away sometime soon.

I'll post some Devon pictures highlighting all of our adventures later today.
