I also made 3 dozen carrot cupcakes yesterday for a fundraising event for the charity I work for. Who knew that grating 660 grams of carrots would take an hour? My hands are still orange!
Today we're going up to Northampton to help some friends paint their new house. And tomorrow is the big fundraising event. It's an Open Gardens at a very posh country estate. The estate is on about 300 acres of land (having that much land is unheard of in this tiny country!) and they have acres of beautiful gardens. I'll be serving tea and cakes to all the people who come along, and hopefully we'll raise lots of money.
Have been busy around the house. Am determined to finish my hooked rug that I started almost a year ago!

Have also been puttering around in the garden. Looks like I'm going to have a bumper crop of tomatoes (once they decide to stop being green!) and I'm very proud of my geraniums that I've grown from seed.

Hope all you Canadians enjoy the long weekend. Only 25 days until we fly home! Yay!!
Will update with pictures from the fancy country estate tomorrow.
