We've got a long way to grow...

As I said in my last post, I spent most of Saturday in the back 'yard', trying to get it looking like it was a proper garden and not a dirty abandoned triscuit-sized plot of land. My beautification efforts included buying some wee geraniums.

In an effort to jump-start them, I lovingly fed them a bunch plant food, images of a giant little-shop-of-horrors-sized geranium in my head. It was nice and sunny today, and I was pretty sure that it would have grown a lot, so I rushed home from work to check on its progress.

As you can see, I might need to wait just a bit longer to see some flower-action. If possible, I think it's actually smaller than it was on Saturday! I don't know if you can tell from this picture, but the leaves are smaller than dimes!! Oh well, maybe it will grow big and strong this weekend while we're away in Kremlin-land.
