Soooo, last night I ALMOST became the proud owner of a wee mini.
We bid on it on ebay, and missed out by about £80, which is a shame.
But, it was all the way up in Birmingham, which would have meant a long trip to go and collect it, and, the engine size was a wee 998 cc's, which might have meant my sewing maching could go faster.
I don't really need a car since I walk to work, but there have been a few times it would have been very handy (when lugging 100 lbs of groceries up Holywell Hill for example). Also, there is something about having an authentic British experience while living here, and driving a car not unlike Mr Beans.
We might keep on looking, and who knows. I might soon be the proud owner of a car the size of a large shoe. woo woo woo!!

Wouldn't you be lugging 100lbs of groceries DOWN Hollywell Hill? And would it not be 8STONE of groceries???????????
Maybe you should get one of those adult tricycles instead... safer for everyone, methinks. Put a big basket on it to carry home Garibaldis.
Bidding on wheels? So... does this mean that Rob's talked you into staying for a little longer than planned? Hmmm...
