Part 4 - Naxos

On Wednesday afternoon we left Santorini and headed to Naxos. It's a pretty wee Island, and was very charming and had lots of character. We stayed in the main town, about ten minutes from the ferry port. It was soo hot when we arrived, and Rob was happy to hop in the pool at our hotel to cool down. Then we headed to the beach, which was really lovely, and had another swim there.

There were lots of cute alleys and shops and winding wee streets. It was a lot less commercial than Santorini, and the interior had lots of sights to explore. We decided to keep our theme of increasing our carbon footprint as much as possible and we rented a wee buggy, that I named 'huggy' for our visit there.
The beaches were fantastic, driving around in 'huggy the buggy' was so much fun, and it was a great two days.
